He was born on August 21, 1949 in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines to Levi and Anita Brion.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Remedios Brion; children, Reynold de Aquino, Rosemarie Phillips, Kathy de Aquino, Dhonn Brion, Christian Bernard Brion and Sherwin Brion; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Zacarias, Lilia Canda and Jean Cole.
