Celebrating the Life of Efren Casimiro Acierto
Born on Sunday, March 4, 1945 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, where he lived until he was 17 years old. He moved to and has lived in Honolulu, HI.
His parents were Catalino Yanos Acierto and Enriqueta Vallesteros Acierto. He was the 1st of 3 children. He attended the following schools: St. Augustine Elementary School, Bacarra High School and Farrington High School.
After graduation, he began a career as a Special Equipment Operator. He retired in 1986 after serving 23 years in the AMFAC Distribution Company. He was married to Violeta Reyes on March 6, 1971 at Our Lady of the Mount Church. He was a member of St. Philomena Church.
He was surrounded by many friends.
His most important events in his life were his wedding, having children, and grandchild.

Favorite hobbies/activates/past times: playing computer games, watching Fernando Poe, Jr. movies, going to Las Vegas.
Favorite music/songs: Ilocano songs & Hawaiian music (radio station KINE)
Survived by his wife, Violeta Reyes Acierto, son Russell Acierto, daughter Rowena Acierto Lynch (husband Christopher Thomas Lynch); brother, Nelson Acierto; sister, Evelyn Reyes and granddaughter Olivia Acierto Lynch.
