Elaine Emiko Lewis
Elaine Emiko Lewis, 69, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away at Castle Medical Center on April 30, 2016. She was born in Honolulu on August 4, 1946 and was the only child of Richard “Blackie” and Helen Wakisaka. She retired in 2014 from Windward Orthopedic Group, where she worked as their insurance clerk for 39 years.
Elaine lived and worked her entire life on the Windward side of Oahu but in her free time loved to play bingo and go to Vegas! She was a loyal and generous friend, loving mother and grandmother and devoted wife.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry, daughter Suzanne Lewis-Andersen and son, Sean Lewis. Grandchildren, Lucas Andersen and Hana Niina Lewis.
Memorial services for Elaine will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Kailua on Monday, May 16, 2016; visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; Mass to begin a t 10:30 a.m.
