Eleanor Munalem Jajalla's Obituary
Eleanor Munalem Jajalla, age 88, passed away on February 26, 2026 in Seattle, Washington. She was born in Puunene, Maui on October 3, 1937, the only girl among nine children of Pedro and Estelita, surrounded by eight brothers. Eleanor was married to Arsenio for 47 blessed years and is survived by their children Arlene and Ariel, son-in-law Freddie, and grandchild Frederic. She is also survived by two brothers, Ernesto and Pedro Jr., as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved and adored her.
Eleanor was the foundation of our family—steady, prayerful, and full of love. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and giving heart blessed everyone who crossed her path. Though we mourn her loss, we take comfort knowing she rests in GOD's eternal peace. We are grateful for every moment we shared and will carry her spirit with us always. We will miss you, MAMA.
