Eleni Sefo's Obituary
Eleni Sefo, 82, born in Sale'ula, Savai'i on December 16, 1943, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. Her mother was Lekea Talaoso of Sale'ula, Savai'i and her father was Aufa'i Faasalele of Sale'ula, Savai'i. Eleni was the oldest of three children. She has two brothers, Okesene Faasalele (deceased) and Aufai Faasalele. Eleni was survived by her late husband Tusi Sefo. Children, Talifaia Mafatau, Fialupe Sefo, Jacinta Paige, Otila Andrews (deceased), Logoitino Sefo, and Petero Sefo. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren, Amanda Mafatau, Chelsea Mafatau, Talifaia Mafatau, Morgan Mafatau, Roland Sefo, Maylene Sefo, Justin Sefo, Devon Sefo, Monique Whitted, Arie Andrews, Derrick Andrews, Kendrick Andrews, Petelo Sefo, Tusi Sefo, Daisha Sefo, Horizon Koanui-Doward, Leahi Liftee-Sefo, Tino Li'i Liftee-Sefo, Tayden Sefo and 18 great grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory. In her earlier days, Eleni worked as a housekeeper at a hotel. She enjoyed church, being with her family, and making eveyone laugh. Eleni was loved by all those who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with unwavering faith. Her compassion and kindness shined through every room she stepped foot in. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
