Elie Tapat Tapat's Obituary
Elie Tapat Tapat, 51, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Honolulu. He was born on October 13, 1965 to Felina (Tapat) and Macario Villaspir Tapat, Sr. in Brgy. Solot-solot, San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines; he was the third eldest of seven children.
He was married to Lany Ballesteros Tapat and they lived in Waipahu, Hawaii.
Elie worked as a landscaping maintenance person for Fred Lau Landscaping Company, for over 20 years. Elie was also a member of the Solot-solot Association of Hawaii.
Elie is survived by his loving wife, Lany B. Tapat; son, Elijah James Ballesteros Tapat; brothers, Edgar T. Tapat, Edison T., Tapat, Emanuel T. (Karen) Tapat, Macario V. Tapat, Jr.(Rowena), Ronald V. Tapat, and Ronie V. Tapat.
Wake and celebration of life services for Elie is scheduled to be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m., with service to follow at 6:30 p.m.
Additional visitation and funeral service to be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church - Kalihi; visitation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Mass to begin at 10:45 a.m., with burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
