Elpidio "Uncle Pete" Correa's Obituary
Elpidio "Uncle Pete" Correa, 79, of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away February 5, 2017. Born in Waipahu on January 13, 1938 to parents Modesto and Felomina Correa, Uncle Pete was a retired heavy equipment operator at Hickam Air Force Base 15th Transportation, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by beloved wife, Anita Purita Bolosan Correa; sons, Irvin (Karen) Correa and Darnell Francis "D" Bolosan Correa I; two grandchildren; brother, Lecarte "Lee" (Iris) Correa; sister, Patricia "Trini" Modomo.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waipahu. Visitation will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with committal service and burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
