Elton Emory Alcover's Obituary
Honolulu – Elton Emory Alcover, 66, of Ewa Beach, HI, formerly of Honolulu, passed away shortly after 1 p.m. on Saturday June 17, 2023 in the care of his ohana with assistance from Bristol Hospice Hawaii. The family would also like to take this time to thank the entire team of The Queen's Health Systems for their medical care of Elton.
A celebration of Life service honoring Elton’s life will be held privately amongst immediate family members and close loved ones. Crematory services have been done by Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe, HI. All further arrangements are being finalized by immediate family members with guidance from Hawaiian Memorial Park and Valley of the Temples Mortuaries.

Elton was born on December 23, 1956 in Honolulu to Wilfred and Frances (Abila) Alcover. He married Kimberly “Kaui” (Kamakaokalani) Alcover on January 27 for a sum of 22.5 years. Elton could be heard singing his favorite tunes in the shower or within good company during karaoke time. He grilled a pretty mean medium-rare ribeye steak on he bbq, and enjoyed learning about animals and nature on the television, from the comfort of home. His all-time favorites — football season and spending time with his grandchildren. He retired after serving over 20 years, working with Oahu Transit Services as a city bus operator at the main Kalihi-Palama facility.
Surviving are his loving wife Kimberly “Kaui” Alcover, sons Nicholas and Noel Alcover, Davis Kamelamela, beloved grandchildren Jhene and Kenzo, Teyshia, Tatiana and Isiah Jr, Marley and Malika, Ikaia and Mata’u, Malachi and Louie, his great grandson Koa-Malosi, sisters Germaine “Geri” (Alcover) Yabes, Manilynn “Manu” (Medeiros) Rivera, Mara “Miki” (Medeiros) de la Cruz, Winifred “Winnie” Alcover, brothers Jason and Paul Alcover.
Elton was preceded in death by his parents and sons Isiah Sr and Marcus Kamelamela.
