Emanuelita Johnson's Obituary
Emanuelita Johnson, 90, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. She was the fifth of 10 children born to Agosto Zecchini and Bianca Facetti in Rome, Italy on March 31, 1926.
Emanuelita was a dress designer extraordinaire in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
She was a worldly woman who lived across the continent such as Rome, Italy and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She eventually came to Hawaii and made her home here in Kaneohe, Hawaii; where she resided.
Emanuelita was married to Rupert J. Johnson on October 19, 1955 in New York.
She was a devout member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Her children were very cherished and were very important in her life.
The important events in her life was traveling all over the world and building their home in Haiku Plantations in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
She was a collector and a doll maker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and listening to Italian songs from Napoli, Italy.
Emanuelita was absolutely beautiful, elegant, passionate, intelligent and outspoken; a proud Roman woman who was born and raised in Roma, Italia and who raised her children strict and with values and common sense.
Emanuelita is survived by her daughters, Marisa (Stephen) Micio and Romana Johnson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rupert J. Johnson; daughter, Marina Good and grandson, Joseph “Joey” Bleskachek.
“Parola Zecchini” was what everyone would remember her saying.
