Emilia Topinio Pilmoca's Obituary
Emilia Topinio "Miling" Pilmoca, 76, of Honolulu, passed away June 20, 2016. She was born May 22, 1940 in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Catalino Topinio and Sergia Sanchez Topinio. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was a hairstylist, and formerly employed as a maintenance worker at Liberty House, and a pantry worker for Job Corps.
She is survived by sons, Richard (Tomomi) Pilmoca and Blaise Pilmoca; two grandchildren, Elijah and Megan Pilmoca; sister, Rosario Cacdac; her loyal dog, Astro.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Wake service will begin at 6:30 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome.
