Enriqueta L. Cabarteja's Obituary
Enriqueta L. Cabarteja, 94, passed away on Friday November 30, 2018 in Ewa Beach. Enriqueta or "Tita" was born on Maui Hawaii in 1924 but her family went back to the Philippines where she spent most of her childhood and adulthood. She was 55 years old when she migrated back to her birthplace , Hawaii. She was a talented seamstress by trade. She was called "Nanay" by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Enriqueta is survived by her children; Josefino "Jesse" (Marcelina) Cabarteja, Maria "Lani" (Mark) Knapp, and Perry Cabarteja. She is also survived by her siblings; Josephine Laungayan and Benjamin Laungayan.
For those who would like to support the family during this difficult time, there will be a Memorial Celebration of Life for Enriqueta on Monday December 17, 2018 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation will start at 10:00am, Memorial Service will start at 12:00pm, and a Prayer Service will start at 12:30pm. The burial will be held at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
