My lovely Eric. How much my heart was stung to hear someone as kind and beautiful as you were gone. You touched my heart with your goodness and love of the beautiful things in the natural world. When we were apprentices together you always made me laugh and see the quiet things. You are such a beautiful person and I’m so pained to say goodby to you. I’m sure there ain’t a heaven but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to imagine you there. You mattered. You were loved. I miss you all the time and wish I could take you one last time to dinner and have conversations and laughs with you like we did. How I love you my friend. You will always make me see something more in the simple and beautiful things.
