Erlinda "Erly" Narciso Pascual's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Erlinda "Erly" Narciso Pascual, born on December 12, 1938 in Santo Tomas, Balacad, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines; where she lived until June 10, 1967, when she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. Her parents were Blas Lidot Narciso and Nicolasa Duldulao. She was the youngest of six children. She was a retired as a housekeeper for the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel on December 31, 2000. Erlinda passed away in Honolulu on May 3, 2014.
She was married to Jose Pascual on August 17, 1968 in the Philippines, which she considered as one of the most important events in her life. Prayer was very important to Erlinda; she was a member of the Co-Cathedral St. Theresa and a member of the Hotels workers Local 5 Union.
She was a loving, caring, and generous person with a sense of humor. She enjoyed talking with fiends and family, doing crossword puzzles and watching Korean Soap Operas. Visits from her grandchildren were always treasured and were very important to her. Her favorite song was "When Will I See You Again."
She is survived by her son, Joewelyn "Joe" (Sylvia) Pascual; grandchildren, Joewel (Elizabeth) Pascual, Cameron Pascual and Monique Pascual; great-granddaughter, Mila Pascual; sister, Lourdes (Pablo) Buduan; brother, David Narciso; companion, Buddy Pascual; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation to her wake service will be held 5:30-9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary with prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation for her funeral service will be from 9:45-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa; Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at the Valley of The Temples Memorial Park.
