Ernest Rexford Kauhi Lake's Obituary
Ernest Kauhi Lake 65 of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on August 26, 2024. He graduated from Mililani High School in 1977 and loved and played many different sports. He umpired for Hawaii Kai Little League baseball, coached volleyball, Little League baseball, basketball, and softball. He worked for Holsum Bakery, Granny Goose Potato Chips, an Elite Limousine Company, Bell Atlantic, and Oahu Transit Services, where he retired as a Bus Operator. Ernest is survived by his significant other Kaikilani Ching, daughters Crystal and Tiana Ching-Lake, hanai-son Koa (Desiree) Ching, son Keone Lake, 3 grandchildren. Siblings - U'ilani (Chris) Talbert, Marcus, Misty (Gary), Kelly (Toni), Colburn, Nieces and Nephews. A private Celebration of Life will be held.
