Ernie Valle Tapat, 73, of Waipahu, passed away on December 24, 2023 at Queens West Oahu Hospital. He was born on Sept. 29, 1950 in San Juan, Philippines.
Ernie was a retired landscaper with Fred Lau Landscaping Company
He is predeceased by his parents, Pedro & Felicitas Tapat; sisters, Delia Molina, Flordeliza Galiza Gina Tapat, and half-brother, Carlito Galamgam. He is survived by his beloved wife, Francisca Tapat; Children: Jeanie (Sonny) Ramos, Analyn Tapat, Ernesto (Janet) Tapat Jr, Ernesto (Monica) Tapat III; Grandchildren: Jeanalyn (Jordan Jr) Dungca, Juanito (Ashlene) Bautista Jr, Justin (Ness) Tapat, Crystallyn Tapat, Jazmin (Matt) Davis, Christian Tapat, Hadden Tapat, Sophia Ramos, Zayn Araiz; Great Grandchildren: Jaezen Dungca, Azalene Bautista, Jazzlyn Dungca, Jreyzen Dungca, Nathan Tapat and Siblings: Rolinda (Delfin) Quiocho, Emelda (Francisco) Redaus, Nenita Dela Cruz, Florida (Danilo) Padasdao, and Mergie (Reynold) Queral.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Valley of the Temples (Main Chapel); service starts at 4 p.m.
