Mrs. Estrella “Ester” Cortez Ola was born October of 1924, in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, to her Parents The Late Mr. Bibiano Cortez and Mrs. Cecilia Macadangdang Cortez
She married a Gentleman and US Army Veteran, The Late Mr. Maximo B Ola.
She is preceded in death by her Beloved Daughter-Miss Nancy Ola and her Beloved Son- Mr. Angelito Aquino (Elma), 3 Brothers-Ignacio, Ireneo, and Pedro Cortez, and 2 Sisters-Cresilda Cortez and Maria C. Bayangbang
She is survived by sons Edgar C. and Benjamin Jr.(Justina), Granddaughters-Jiena (Richie), Janelle (Mark) and Jennifer (Kellan), Grandsons-Andrew, Jarrett (Charlotte), and Matthew. Plus 8 Great-Grandchildren.
She passed away on the evening of September 30, 2022 at the beautiful Maunalani Nursing and Rehab Center atop Maunalani Heights, on the island of Oahu, just a few days shy of her 98th birthday.
She was a widowed Mom who dedicated her life to Loving, Caring and Nuturing her family throughout her lifetime. She’s was a humble, wonderful woman who made tremendous sacrifices and always put her family first.
Dear God,
Thank You for Mama Ester’s life and for all the years we shared with her. We lift her to you today, in honor of the good we saw in her and the love we felt from her. Please give us the strength to leave her in your care, in the knowledge of eternal life through Jesus Christ. AMEN
