Professor Ogan was a gift to me and many others, I would imagine. He had incredible patience and was always willing to give the benefit of the doubt to his students. I have never known a professor who enjoyed his students as much as he did. He was a great teacher, mentor and friend. He managed to build a fellowship and community amongst his advisees and others. And for that, I shall miss him tremendously. I am grateful to have had him as a teacher. Go in peace.
