Eunice Vallespin Crain's Obituary
Eunice was born on July 15, 1976 in Cavite City, Philippines as a U.S. Citizen born abroad, to father, Alfredo Vallejos Vallespin and mother, Elizabeth Escobar Vallespin. She grow up in a small, loving family with one sister.
She came to the United States when she was three years old and had the opportunity to travel most parts of the U.S. and overseas (Europe and Asia); while her father served in the Army. Her mother worked as a medical field professional working for the Federal Service and her father worked as a senior logistics manager serving in the Federal Service. She has a younger sister and she always tries to keep busy spending time with family or trying new things. Eunice has always been very family oriented because she knows her family members are the people who will always be there to support her as she "reached for the stars."
Eunice attended Leilehua High School, where she tried to make the most of her time and participate in as many extracurricular activities as possible. She moved to the mainland for her father's new station.
Eunice married at a young age and become a Mom and stayed at home full time raising her three children, Jaennice, Aileen, Josiah and a stepson, Adrian Edgar Crain; while supporting her husband, Adrian who currently serves in the Army.
Eunice loved outdoor activities; such as participating in local marathons, walking, hiking, working out in the gym and shopping. When she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2017, she remain dedicated in her work as a full time Mom; constantly supporting her husband with her will to fight her illness. She remained brave and iron-willed even throughout her final months.
Eunice is survived by her loving husband, Adrian Takashi Crain; three children, Jaennice Vallespin Garrison, Aileen Vallespin Amio, Josiah Vallespin Crain; a stepson, Adrian Edgar Agustin Crain; three grandchildren, Liliana Bella Vallespin Garrison, Jayden Koi Tyler Garrison, Calliope Celeste Vallespin Garrison; her parents, Alfredo "Kris" Vallejos Vallespin and Elizabeth "Beth" Escobar Vallespin; her only sister, Kristina Escobar Vallespin; brothers, Joseph Escobar Vallespin, Rodelio Escobar Vallespin; grandmother, Betty Ronquillo Escobar; uncles, aunties, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Eunice will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at St. Ann's Catholic Church; visitation from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., family service with eulogies and remembrances to begin at 11:30 a.m., Mass at 12:45 p.m. and Committal service to follow 2:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
