Evaristo Napoleon Velasco's Obituary
EVARISTO NAPOLEON "POLEON" VELASCO, 76, of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away November 28, 2015. Born October 26, 1939 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Candido and Estefania (Guerrero) Velasco, he was a retired restaurant steward for the Hawaiian Regent Hotel and the Marriott Beach Resort and Spa in Waikiki.
He is survived by beloved wife, Luz Diniega Velasco; son, Regino "Gino" (Manlee) Velasco; daughters, Arsenia "Berni" (Owen) Tanaid, Cresencia "Cris" (Carl) Cariaga and Evelyn (Richard Rife) Velasco; mother, Estefania Velasco; brother, Rolando Velasco; sisters, Teresita (Ricardo) Magday and Zenaida (Victor) Cabagbag.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursdsay, December 17, 2015, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
A second visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Pearl City. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
