When someone important passes away, memories tend to flood in, to resurface. It's a way to never forget the impact they have made in our lives. For me, everyday is a new memory of my grandma that fills my heart with love. I miss you, Tutu and will forever wonder where you are, what new journey awaits you.
Evelyn was so much more than just my Grandma. She was an amazing artist, showing me the colors of the world and sketching the tree of life. An extraordinary seamstress, in fact, I still remember the blanket she made when I was a child. It was her way of showing me her love, every stitch and pattern were catered specifically to me. She knew me and it showed. She was a devout catholic, going above and beyond to help the church and those around her. If you knew her, than I know she touched your life as well. She will always be a joy in my life.
My personal message to my Tutu... I love you very much and I will never forget you. Thank God for all the times you INSPIRED ME with your talents and gifts. Your legacy will carry on always.
