Putting up Christmas lights together on our roofline. Motorcycle rides. Joyriding in his “nikilado” jeep. Harvesting crops in the field and the excitement of going back home with him to cook fresh nuts and corns. Driving to the North Shore to eat garlic shrimps and pineapple ice cream. Frying frog legs for his half Korean/filipina granddaughter Demi. Singing karaoke together (his most requested song for me to sing is “the power of love”). Tickling the sole of my feet pretty hard until he gets the slap from Mama to stop. He enjoyed hearing how I appreciated the food he made. He was an expert to handle an air gun so bird hunting became one of our routine activities of me growing up. He is so smart so I’m not going to lie he did most of my English composition back in my high school years🤣 You made my childhood fun Papa. Thank you. Love you lots ❤️Nel
