Feliza Alunday Castillo, 85 of Ewa Beach, passed away on Monday, November 05, 2018. she was born on November 21, 1932 in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Her father was Lucas Alunday and her mother was Felicidad Cabbab. Feliza was the first born out of nine total children. She attended schools such as Gabaldon Elementary, Paoay Academy and Northern Christian College. She had earned a certificate in teaching. After graduation Feliza began her career as a teacher in Agusan, Philippines, then for the majority of her life she was a Homemaker. Feliza was married to Federico Castillo and together the couple had 3 children. She was a member of many different organizations such as religious organizations, social, and parent teacher association (PTA). Important moments in her life were birthdays, graduations and her moments with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her life revolved around her grandchildren. She saw herself as wonder woman as a mother, a hero as a grandmother and an Angel as a friend. Feliza was very selfless, she always put everyone else before herself and was ready to risk her life for her loved ones. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Jesus (Patricia Marie Tade) Castillo, Imelda (Roman-deceased) Gaoiran, and Mario (Filomena Sta Maria) Castillo. 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Feliza Alunday Castillo will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (45-425 Kamehameha Hwy. Kaneohe, Hi 96744) Visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Service: 10:30 am. Lunch: 11:30 am- 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Valley of The Temples.
