Filemon Castillo Barut, 81, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Born on March 21, 1934 to Ciriaco Visaya Barut and Escolastica Castillo in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was a retired lead cabinet maker with the City and County of Honolulu, Building Department.
He is survived by wife, Angeles Barut; sons, Nolan (Michelle) Barut and Glenn (Imelda) Barut; brother, Marcelino Barut; four grandchildren.
Visitation 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Church in Kalihi; service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional service Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Church; visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Mass to begin at 11:30 a.m., with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
