Filomena Alhambra's Obituary
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty and friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her ohana on January 30, 2021 at age 84. Lumen was born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines and moved to Hawaii in 1975.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Rodrigo Alhambra Sr., her five children Melvic (Annette), Judy Rey (Evelyn), Cecille (Freddie), Grace (Carty), and Rodrigo Jr. (Mary), her 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Aurelio Castillo and sister Mercedes Castillo. She is preceded in
death by her sisters Librada Dalit, Yolanda Espiritu, and Eufemia Melendez.
A special Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony Church in Kalihi on Saturday, March 6 at 9:00am. Tribute to follow after the mass..
A PRIVATE viewing for the immediate family will be held on Monday, March 8 at 10:00am at The Valley of the Temple, top chapel. A public Drive-By viewing will follow at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at 1:00pm.
Memorial gifts can be drop off at the Drive-By or at St. Anthony Church in Kalihi during her mass & tribute services or mail to the family residence.
