Mrs. Flora P A Bareng's Obituary
Flora Paderes Bareng, 92, of Waipahu, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a Great-Great Grandmother who entered into Eternal rest on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The Lord welcomes her into his arms and kingdom. She was born on November 24, 1933, by her mother, Manuela Paderes and father, Pablo Abadilla in Laoag City, Philippines. Flora married Federico Pascual Bareng on January 29, 1951. They have six living children and one deceased brother named Noel.
Their life together was full of love, passion, commitment and faith until Federico passed away and entered the Eternal life on April 1, 2002. Flora continued with her life supporting 4 daughters, Modesta, Lydia, Nona, Lina and 2 sons, Johnny and Domingo with love and unwavering devotion.
Flora moved to Honolulu in 1973 along with 3 of her children, she migrated 3 of the oldest children earlier to live and create a better future. Flora worked at Dole Pineapple Cannery and later worked at Dole Fresh Fruit in Wahiawa until she retired. She loves to cook and there are a few favorite sausages we will deeply miss one of which is her Ilocano style longganisa sausage, full of flavor and her specialty called Morton, a meatloaf sausage style mixed with raisin brand, pimentos and her secret ingredients, rolled in foil, boiled and deep fried.
Flora's greatest joy was her family. She passed away behind 6 siblings, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She also left behind sister-in-law, Teresita Bareng and step-sister Almie Abadilla.
