Florence Custodio's Obituary
Florence Elaydo Custodio, 82, of Waipahu, passed away on November 23, 2025 At Queens West Hospital in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Services will be held at Resurrection of the Lord on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 with visitation beginning at 9:30am, Mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial park at 2:00pm.
Florence was born to Juan Elaydo & Gracia Eleccion in San Esteban, Philippines in 1943. Her sisters are Lilia Edralin, Luzviminda Mina, Grace Banaticla, and Cora Jacalne. Florence married Rey Custodio in 1966 before moving to Molokai. She worked at Kilgos, Kuakini Rehab and Kaiser Permanente. She enjoyed dancing, knitting/crocheting, painting, taught herself Japanese and was fluent in numerous Filipino dialects. She enjoyed traveling, being with family, and going to events hosted by the Ilocus Surian Association and Candonians of Hawaii.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Rey in 2023. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Santos and Aaron Custodio; and 3 grandchildren.
