Foo Ying Chee's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Foo Ying Chee, born September 1, 1933 in Zhong Shan, China. He attended McKinley High School. After graduation he began his career as a Meat Cutter/Butcher and later became the Owner of Sing Hing Market and Ying Leong Look Funn Inc. He married Alice Shu Ling Chee on December 20, 1971 at Olivet Baptist Church. He had a very special friend by the name of George Uyemura. Foo Ying was described as devoted, selfless, caring, stalwart, and a leader. He enjoyed photography and fishing. He is survived by wife, Alice S. L. Chee; sons, Daniel, Peter (Kelly Sok Heen), and Matthew Chee; sister, Sho Ho (Chun Yu) Chee; brother, Siu Hin Chee; 2 grandchildren.
His services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m., service will be at 11:00a.m. with burial at 2:00p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
