The girls!!! ❤️
Dear Friend, it was a pleasure to work with you, to see you in the halls, to talk story, to catch up on family. First you were here and then you were not. I saw this and thought of you and your ohana…
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So, He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Aloha Mapu’s Ohana…
Here’s to celebrating the wonderful life she lived. May your memories give you strength and your love keep you strong. ❤️
To our cousin Mapu,
We met a few times when we came from North Carolina for reunions and vacations and I wish we could have spent more time together. We always felt your love and you made us feel loved and welcomed to the family the first time we came to Hawaii and every time we came back. We love you and we miss you and we know God has his plan to make Heaven a more beautiful place with you there. We look forward to the next time we meet again in Heaven so we can feel your love again. We know your family is hurting and they are missing you with all their heart. I am sorry they had to say goodbye to you in January and my heart aches for all of them. We will all meet again and have a most glorious reunion there. We love you and all of the family and trust that God will give Harvey the strength to continue be the great father and grandfather that he is. To all of your siblings, your children, and the extended family, we love you all and we have wonderful memories of all of you. We hope to come back to Hawaii and spend time with every one of our loved ones there. God Bless You All during this difficult time.
Love,
Cousins Ronald and Dale from North Carolina
It was a pleasure to work with, and get to know Mapu, during the early 2000's. Our time together at Castle Medical Center in the business office will always be a cherished memory. I will never forget, wearing a mu'u and heals, pushing her stalled car out of a parking stall so her car could be jumped. It was a sight, to be sure. Her Pumpkin Rolls were the bomb. Rest in paradise Mapu. You've touched lives in ways you never could have imagined.
