FRANCIS "ELIA" HERNANE DELA CRUZ November 01, 2011Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, age 63. He lived with hanai parent's uncle & auntie, Edward and Louisa Dela Cruz of Kaneohe. He attended James B. Castle High School. He served in the US Army Armed Forces. He retired as a Roofer. He lived part of his life on Kauai, and enjoyed fishing. Survived by daughters Lauralin, Leititia Dela Cruz, Lianalouise Hiongson; son Louis Dela Cruz; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Greatgrandchildren; brothers Edward, Donald, Timothy Shepherd; sisters Lani Weaver, Lorna Dela Cruz, Sharon Shepherd, Leimomi Jones; hanai brothers John, Jonathan Kauhako, Elliot, Warren, Daniel, Isaac, James, Michael Dela Cruz; hanai sisters Eloise Makua, Eleanor Dela Cruz, Enola Talbert.Honor Service at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Committal Shelter on Friday December 9th, 2011 at 11:00am. The Memorial Service to follow at the home of Edward & Louisa Dela Cruz. His Ashes will be scattered on Kauai, January 3, 2012.
