Francis Sum Mauliola's Obituary
Francis Sum Mauliola, 82, of Waimanalo, Hawaii, passed away on May 9, 2014. He was a retired Engineering Supervisor for Castle Medical Center, a Hawaii Army National Guard retiree with the 291st and an active member of the Waimanalo Senior Citizens Club. He was born in Waimanalo when Hawaii was still a Territory. He is survived by his sons, Francis Mauliola, Jr. and Skip Mauliola; daughters, Jacqueline (Walter) Kamai , Janna Mauliola and Tracy (Leland) Tobias; brothers, Theodore (Mary Lou) Mauliola and George (Mary) Mauliola; sisters, Grace Adviento and Roselani (Bernaldo) Villanueva; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by wife, Joan Michiko Mauliola; sons, James Mauliola and Douglas Mauliola; and daughter, Bernadette Amasiu.
Visitation to his funeral service to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at St. George Catholic Church in Waimanalo with celebration of life service to begin at 10:45 a.m. and Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Private burial.
