Francis "Pops Silva" Clifford Silva Sr.'s Obituary
Francis “Pops Silva” Clifford Silva, Sr., 89, passed away on June 1, 2015 at his residence in Waianae Valley. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a retired heavy duty mechanic with State T & L, a United State Army Veteran and the owner of Pops Silva’s Case Backhoe Rentals and Repairs.
He is survived by wife (of 70 years), Beatrice Hoe Silva; son, Clifford Silva Jr.; daughter, Claudette Joseph (Stanley “Dingie” Joseph Jr.); six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Geraldine Yannell; nieces and nephews; hanai daughter, Wilma Cashe; hanai son, Stanley Akamine.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church-Waianae; eulogy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Mass to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
