Frank Jordan Malta's Obituary
Frank Jordan Malta passed away peacefully in his home in Kailua on December 31, 2017 at the age of 72, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 11, 1945 in Honolulu, he was the son of the late Isabel (Shaw) Malta .
Frank was an iron worker by trade and a proud member of the Local 625 Ironworker's Union. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with his wife, going to the beach, reading and working in the yard with his dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marjorie Malta; along with 6 children Bonnie Allen of Kaneohe, Terri Tongg of Waialua, James Chung of Kaneohe, Keith Chung of Mililani, Matthew Malta of Kailua, and Michelle Malta of Kailua; grandchildren; Rick, Tasha, Frank, Wyatt, Naia, Noah, Nevan, Kona, Kayla, and Lincoln; 2 siblings Betty Ann Schoeppner of Kaneohe, Linda Ilae of Kaneohe; hanai daughter Dawna, hanai granddaughter Paige, great grandchildren Kyra-Leigh and Haze and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives.
Memorial services for Frank will be on Thursday February 22, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. with memorial services to begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be an inurnment the following morning of Friday February 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
