Frank Dewitt Rampey's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Frank D. Rampey, born May 13, 1934 in Central, S.C. to Alo and Lathadius Ferrel Rampey. He was the third of four children. Frank served in the United States Army for 21 years. During his years of service, he served in the Vietnam War from 1969 – 1920 where he attained the rank of SFC/E7 and received the Bronze Star. After his retirement from the Army, he worked for the DoD at the Schofield Barracks Automotive Craft Shop for another 20 plus years before his retirement. He was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Frank was a great husband and father. His most important event in his life was marrying his loving wife Rosemarie of 57 years.
His service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Service will begin at 12:00p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at 1:00p.m. at Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery.
