Frederick Franklin Freitas' Obituary
Frederick Franklin Freitas, a resident of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away on February 27, 2017 he was 83 years old. Frederick was the third of six children born to Helen Elizabeth (Hickey) and Joseph Freitas in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 12, 1933. Joseph was a retired superintendent for the City and County of Honolulu, Refuse Division and a United States Coast Guard Veteran.
Frederick lived mostly on the west side of the island on Oahu, such places as; Waianae, Ewa Beach and Royal Kunia.
Frederick was married to Margaret Crowder on December 10, 1955.
Frederick was a member who attended both; Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ewa Beach and Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Waipio.
Frederick enjoyed the ocean, he also liked diving for squid and picking opihi when he had the time. He enjoyed listening to the music of John Denver.
Funeral Service for Frederick will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church; visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., eulogy: 10:30 a.m., Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m., burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
