We remember, honor, and love a man who meant so much to us all - Gary Yee. He was a son, husband, Dad, Papa, and friend to so many, and he will be deeply missed.
Born and raised in Hawaii with his parents and 5 siblings, he brought with him the warmth and kindness of the islands & his culture wherever he went. He met his beloved wife Kathleen at San Jose State University and raised his family in Fremont, California as a dedicated father & hardworking salesman and then returned to his home state of Hawaii for his retirement.
He was known for his generosity, unconditional kindness and his quiet calmness that comforted any room he was in. Whether it was in supporting his family in all of their dreams and ambitions, or lending an ear or hand to a friend in need, he was always there for all of us.
Gary Yee was a devoted family man, who loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, two kids, and four grandkids. He took great pride in watching them grow and flourish, and he was always their biggest cheerleader. He made sure to spoil us all with his passion for shopping and finding the best deals - especially on shoes! It’s a legacy all the Yee’s will carry forward.
His love for his family was evident in everything he did, from filming every life moment with his camera, small gestures of affection, the grand family gifts that he planned with great care or all the awesome support & interest he gave in everyone’s personal endeavors.
As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life and the legacy he leaves behind. He lived a life of love, compassion, and patience. He taught us the importance of family, hard work, generosity, and kindness. He will be deeply missed, but his memory and legacy will live on in our hearts, forever.
