My very last note to you,
Doc,
YOU Was the kindest person, quiet but observant, jokester, compassionate, understanding and a person who will love you unconditionally. One memory of you is always finding time to come to the front and joke around with us and making sure that we are Ok. And particular memory that I will always remember is….knowing when you would arrive in the clinic. We would be in front, and we would hear the sound of a can (diet Pepsi) open up 1st thing in the morning. As soon as the girls and I hear that we would say “. nandito siya”.
One of the oldest memories of you with me, writing notes to you, asking you a question because a patient called regarding so and so or the pharmacy and I will leave it on top of your desk and get the your response with a “ good morning Marie :).
He was someone who I looked up to as a second father figure. because of how he took care of me and the girls. He was someone who understood us individually. Regardless of what life throws at us.
Before your departure, we made a pack that we will leave when you retire because we couldn’t bare to leave you. Till you’re very last breath even when you’re no longer here you still continue to take care of us and assuring us that we will be OK. To me, you will be that person with a “golden heart.”
Thank you, doctor for loving me and the girls unconditionally. For always reminding me to love unconditionally even through pain. “ huwag isara ang iyong puso “He would say.. You were a great employer, a mentor, friend and a father to us all. Your presence truly filled the room with so much love. You have touch so many lives, including me that is why I am beyond grateful that the Lord had given me the chance in working for you and getting to know you for so many years.Your legacy will live on. May you rest in peace. Miss and love you always. Till we meet again. Doc.
