George Hong Tak Lum's Obituary
George Hong Tak Lum, age 98, beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away November 26, 2017 at Kuakini Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1919 in Canton, China and was a retired Hong Kong merchant and a member of the Hawaii Chinese Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, Peter Lam and Jimmy Lum; daughter, Judy Lum; grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Jalen and Cody; brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Valley of the Temples Memorial Chapel (47-200 Kahekili Hwy., Kaneohe, HI). Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Services, officiated by the Rev. Andrew Tong of Hawaii Chinese Baptist Church, will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
