George Henry Koohimaunu Stephenson's Obituary
George H.K. Stephenson, 89 of Kamuela Hawaii has passed away at his residence in Kamuela on May 20, 2018. George was born to his mother, Lucy Makaopiopio Chong See and father, William Stephenson in Honolulu Hawaii on January 21, 1929. He retired as a Welder for the Federal Government and was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
George is survived by his son, Rodney (Roni) Stephenson, Francis (Raquel) Stephenson; daughters, Lylenette Kalima, Jenella (Glen) Ogitani; brother, Thomas "Tommy" Stephenson; sister, Midgy Crowell; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service for George will be on Thursday June 28, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be at 9:00 am with services to begin at 9:30 am. There will be a burial to follow at 11:00 am at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
