Geraldine Elizabeth Yannell's Obituary
Geraldine Elizabeth Yannell, a resident of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii passed away on September 14, 2016 at her residence she was 89 years old. Geraldine was born to Annie (Freitas) and Philo Raymond Silva in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 15, 1926.
Geraldine was a homemaker who was a wife, mother, sister, aunty and friend. She was a very creative woman who was artsy, and loved to paint and sew personalized items; when given you knew it was made with love.
She loved to sing, dance and play the ukulele and piano. She was the hostess who gave the most to all her family and friends. She was a great cook, who loved to cook enjoyed gardening and kept her house in an “immaculate” condition.
Geraldine was a woman of faith; friendly to all who came into her life, enjoyed making everyone smile (that she was complimented on) loved to laugh.
Celebration of Life service for Geraldine will be held on Friday, October 17, 2016 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church (located at 4470 Aliikoa Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96821); visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow 1:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific – Punchbowl.
