Gertrudes Quia Cachola's Obituary
Gertrudes Cachola, 95 years old, peacefully passed away on January 21, 2020. She was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1969. She has resided in Honolulu, Hawaii since 1969. For many years she was a seamstress for a local drapery company and retired in 2003. Gertrudes is pre-deceased by her beloved spouse, Frank. She is survived by her two children, Abraham “Randy” and Mercy, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. She enjoyed preparing home-cooked meals for her family and having the grandkids visit and play at her home. She is remembered by her family as a loving and kind mom and grandma. She has given her loved ones so many joyful and cherished memories. Our mom and grandma will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa Church. Visitation to start at 10:00 a.m.; Mass at 11:00 a.m. and burial at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will follow burial at Valley of the Temples Chapel Lanai from 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
