Gladys Kaeha Akana's Obituary
Gladys Kaeha Akana, 88, of Honolulu passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021. She was born on April 22, 1932 in Waimea, Kaua’i and attended Kamehameha Schools where she graduated in 1949. She was married to her husband Joshua for 70 years and worked as an employee of Safeway for 32 years. After retirement, she dedicated her time and efforts to her family as well as to her church, Kealaokamalamalama.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Meredith, son Reuben, brother Stanley Ching, 3 granddaughters, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held virtually due to COVID-19 restriction
