Glenda Likolehua Kahele's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Glenda Likolehua Kahele, 71, of Honolulu, Hawai’i passed away on July 7, 2017. Glenda was born to Richard and Mary Wong on June 23, 1947 in Honolulu; she was the eight out of 13 children.
Glenda attended the following schools: Like Like Elementary, Kalakaua Middle and Farrington High School, where she received her high school diploma.
Glenda lived in Honolulu and was a dedicated homemaker.
The most important events in Glenda’s life were the birth of her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She truly lived her life for her kids.
She was known to be feisty, loving/caring, welcoming and blunt. She loved reading, watching sports and cleaning. She also loved listening to the Oldies and Old Hawaiian music.
She was known to say, “Are you mad?!” or “See, good for you.”
Glenda is survived by her children, Tina-Sharmaine Kahele, Darrin Kahele, Terri-Lynn Kahele-Keil (Neville), Dean Kahele, Mickie-Ann (Dean) Javier and Shaun (Nana) Kahele; 25 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Delton Wong, Marilyn Wong, Clifford Wong and Dennis Wong.
Her Celebration of Life and funeral services were held privately.
