Gloria "Sista" Arlette Canha's Obituary
Gloria “Sista” Arlette Canha, a resident of Kaimuki, Hawaii passed away at the Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre in Kaneohe on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born to John Rodrigues and Sarah Lopes in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 10, 1932. She was a retired supervisor with the State of Hawaii, Department of Social Services.
She is survived by son, Byron Canha; daughter, Aldine (Patrick) Brown; brother, John (Beverly) Rodrigues, Jr.; hanai daughter, Melani (Kalbert) Noble; one hanai granddaughter, Khristy Arrell and one great-granddaughter, Serenity Arrell.
Services for Gloria will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Diamond Head Mortuary (located at 535 18th Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii) Visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., service to begin at 10:00 a.m., with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
