Graf Yukio Shintaku's Obituary
Graf Yukio Shintaku 88, of Hau'ula passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Friday, April 6, 2018. Graf was born on August 25, 1929 in Wahiawa, Hawaii to the late Masami, and Sonoko Shintaku. He was the third child of four children. He graduated from Leilehua High School. He then earned a Bachelor's Degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo College. After graduation he began a career as an owner of Green Growers Hau'ula Tomatoes.He was a member of Hawaii Farm Bureau. He also enjoyed being a fisherman. Graf's favorite hobbies were fishing, loved dogs, and took in strays. Graf is survived by Sons: Terence Shintaku, and Dwight (Adele) Shintaku. Four grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held for Graf at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Visitation: 10 am Service: 11 am Luncheon to follow after services.
