Being so far away from Hawaii, we seem to lose touch with our family that we hold dear to our heart. I am so saddened to hear of my cousin Gregory's passing away. I still remember Greg and his laughter and love of music and family. Sandi- you have always been his soul mate and Greg was so blessed to have you in his life and his kids. He is the first of our cousins to pass that I know of and it makes you realize that life is short and precious. My eyes are filled with tears and my heart is empty.I know only time will heal the saddness we each fill. I have lots of memories of Greg which I will always hold dear to my heart! I can still hear his laugh. Even though I may be far away from all of you, each of you are in my prayers and thoughts each and every day of my life. My family sends their love and sympthany to all! We will deeply miss our brother and friend. He loved his family and shared his joy with all his friends. Duke through the years shared his smiles and laughs, deep conversations and especially his opinion. Still when I think of him he makes me smile.
I once read this thought of how some people are like flowers.
Duke is like that flower that has shared it's life with many and brought happiness and joy to them. Although in time it withered it will always be remembered through the seeds it has left behind.
We love you and will be here for you.
