Halona Marie Kauhola's Obituary
Halona Marie Kauhola, 86 of Waimanalo, Hawaii passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born on September 6, 1929 in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. She was a homemaker.
She worked in a grocery store for one year after she graduated from high school, then worked as a custodian for Kula Sanitorium.
She is survived by her sons, Lawrence “Larry” Ray Olepau, Gregory Kalani Olepau, and Leland Keola Olepau; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Texieira, Stacy Texiera, James Olepau, Michael Olepau, Michelle Olepau Fountain, Rochelle Olepau Christ, and Amber Olepau Almadova; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Alipio Thomas, Arthur Patton, and Clarence Patton.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Haalilio Olepau; second husband, Robert Keaniani Leo Kauhola; daughter, Laurene Mamo Kuu Ipo Aloha Olepau and son, Edward Kealoha Olepau.
Her celebration of life services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casual attire. Flowers are welcomed.
