Harold Akito Hashimoto's Obituary
Harold Akito Hashimoto, 91, passed away on July 27, 2023, at his Kailua home. He was born in Lihue, Kauai, on July 24, 1932. Harold retired from the US Air Force and again as a US Civil Service carpenter foreman. He is survived by his wife: Sachiyo; his children: Gary (Claudine) Hashimoto and Tina (Russ) Awakuni; his grandchildren: Aidan Awakuni, Ethan Hashimoto and Leanne Hashimoto; and his sister: Matsumi Suyeoka.The family will hold his services on September 12, 2023, from 10am-1pm at Valley of the Temples Chapel, followed by 2pm inurnment at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
