Harold Gregory Nunes' Obituary
Harold Gregory Nunes, age 83, passed away at his residence in Kailua, Oahu on May 14, 2015. He was born on November 17, 1931 in Lahaina, Maui to John Correira Nunes and Isabella Cozy Gomes.
Harold married Barbara Ann Nunes on September 29, 1956 and together, they had four children. He retired after working 35 years as a truck driver for Del Monte. He also worked in the lumberyard at True Value for 16 years.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Ann Nunes; son, Henry (Noeriza) Nunes; daughter, Anna Maria (Alton) Nicholson; brothers, Richard, Jimmy, and Lawrence Nunes; sister, Theresa Afungia; five grandchildren; caregiver (nephew), Jeffrey Nunes; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Venus Ann Nunes and Darvin Lyn Nunes.
Wake Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. with Service at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., with Service at 11:00 a.m., and burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
