To the family of Harriet Ogomori:My parents, Tadao and Ellen Ibaraki, were neighbors of the Ogomoris at Eden Gardens apartment on Kuakini for many years. Our family kept in touch, and I took my mother Ellen to visit the Ogomoris at Pohai Nani several years ago. By coincidence, I was able to speak to Harriet at Hale Ho Aloha when I saw her by chance while visiting another resident there.Whenever I pass by Eden Gardens, I think of my own parents who are now deceased, and the Ogomoris. Mr. Ogomori often told me that he remembered my father Tadao from youthful days in Palolo.While I am sad to know that their generation has passed from our lives, I am grateful for the opportunity to have known them and enjoyed their company.Roy will probably remember me from the fender bender incident in the Eden Garden parking garage. After that incident, my father gave up driving without protest.
