I just heard the announcement from sweetie, who missed Coach’s celebration of life. I graduated in 1998, and had Coach for weight room. It was one of the classes that I look forward to the most, not because it was lifting weights, but because Coach talked to us normally. We all understood that he was a teacher/coach, play it was different with him. He was our friend and we would sit down with him sometimes and talk about the teams we were going to challenge that week. I’ll always remember his most famous word he used with us…..”eh, handsome.”
